The Management Development Institute (MDI) is a "resource system" multi-track program under the auspices of the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA). The MDI provides many practical and innovative management techniques that can be used by managers and supervisors of OTDA. The courses within MDI tracks address the skill development needs of all levels of OTDA management and supervisory staff, as well as preparing non-supervisory staff to assume supervisory positions in the future.
