Housing Resource System

The Housing Resource System is a New York State contract under the auspices of The New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA). Training is available to all employee levels including homeless shelter staff members, shelter operators and directors, HHAP grantees, Homeless Intervention Project grantees and OTDA, as well as others who implement housing services for adults and seniors in the community.

Homeless Shelter Training Institute (HSTI)
The Homeless Shelter Training Institute is a Certificate Program developed to meet the needs of shelter facilities throughout New York State . Four core competency tracks offer attendees the opportunity to expand their professional development in both clinical and administrative practices.
