Are You Interested in a Career in Aging Services?

The Brookdale Center for Healthy Aging & Longevity is offering a Careers in Aging Workshops during the January 2008 intercession. The four-session workshop is designed to help prospective students understand how to begin and/or establish a career in this growing field by empowering them with self knowledge about their own career preferences and skills set. Suzanne Harwood, a career coach affiliated with the Five O’Clock Guild, one of the nation’s premier career coaching organizations, will lead the workshop.

Classes begin on Thursday, January 3, 2008 and will be held on consecutive Thursdays through January 24, 2008 at the Brookdale Center for Healthy Aging & Longevity at 425 East 25 th Street. Class time is 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Please note that this workshop does not carry any credit hours and is being offered as an enhancement to the certificate program.

This is a pilot program and space is limited to six students. The workshops fee is $330 and students are required to purchase a book for the program ($10-$15).
